Enterprise systems accumulate invisible risk: a database with no failover replica, a firewall rule that diverged from the approved baseline, a device that enrolled without MDM, capacity trending toward exhaustion. Traditional monitoring tells you when metrics spike. Panaptico tells you when the system structure itself is drifting toward failure.

How Panaptico approaches it

Panaptico applies its verification primitives to detect structural and behavioral risks across your estate:

• Relationship — maps dependencies between systems, services, and infrastructure. A database with only one downstream consumer is flagged; a critical path with no redundancy is surfaced as a single point of failure.
• Trajectory — tracks capacity and health trends over time. Storage growth, connection pool saturation, and error rate acceleration are scored continuously against thresholds so you see exhaustion before it hits.
• Conformity — compares live configurations against declared baselines. A security group that drifts from the approved template, or a server running an unexpected package, becomes a scored gap with full history.
• Coverage — ensures every expected entity is observed. Unknown devices, unmonitored accounts, and orphaned resources are flagged as Unobserved or Unknown. Missing evidence never inherits a last good value.

Signals turn raw telemetry into business meaning (“unmanaged device”, “non-compliant config”) with decay and drift history. Enriched Signals compose these into entity-level judgment so you know which risks matter now.
